Our story began in a quiet corner of Pilot Point, Texas, where a group of art students, united by a shared love for creative expression, started designing canvas shoes, not for profit, but for joy. We painted on shoes for ourselves and gifted them to friends, turning ordinary footwear into vibrant canvases of personality. What started as a simple, heartfelt hobby soon blossomed into something much more: a small local shop that quickly captured the hearts of many.

The name Ulla Home carries a deeper meaning than it may seem. Though originally formed from the names of our three founders, we’ve embraced and grown into the spirit of the name itself.
“Ulla” of Germanic and Scandinavian roots, means “will” and “determination.” It perfectly reflects the driving force behind our work: the relentless desire to create canvas shoes and street-style footwear that stand out not only for their looks, but for how they make you feel.
“Home” symbolizes comfort, warmth, and belonging, what we hope every step in our shoes will bring to you.

In early 2022, we launched ullahome.com to share our vision with the world. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to craft shoes that are stylish, personal, and uplifting, footwear that blends street-style confidence with everyday ease. We put our hearts into every detail, from selecting quality fabrics and materials to refining each seam, stitch, and silhouette.

But Ulla Home is more than a brand. It’s our shared journey of creativity, resilience, and care. Every shoe we make carries a piece of our story, and now, it becomes a part of yours. We’ve worked hard to build a smooth and reliable global shopping experience, thanks in no small part to the support of friends and partners who believe in what we do.
